For those who don't get the reference, Piero Manzoni is an artist perhaps best known for his piece "Merde d'artista". The piece is widely seen as an ironic comment on the nature of art. Draw your own conclusions.

Okay, so this probably deserves some explanation. I was going to say "it's a long story", but it really isn't. You see Process Black was originally developed for a proposed comic collective named "Kittens and Ammo". The cat pictured above (dressed in a Full-Metal-Jacket-style army helmet) was supposed to be this collective's mascot, and we had each agreed to use it in some way in our respective comics.

Also, I'm not sure if I mentioned, but this comic is set to update on a Monday-Wednesday-Friday schedule. I'll modify it as I go based on the amount of free time at my disposal.
